Concrete wedge anchor bolt, sometimes called expansion wedge bolt, is used to anchor and fix material objects and equipment on the surface of concrete substrate. It is composed of expansion wedge bolt, expansion clip, hexagon nut and flat washer.

Masonry wedge anchors have a variety of surface treatments and material grades. The most common types of wedge anchorage are galvanized low grade carbon steel, hot dip galvanized, 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel. For dry and most indoor applications, galvanized carbon steel wedge anchors perform well. If anchors are used on outdoor construction projects with high humidity, hot dip galvanized or 304 stainless steel wedge anchors are recommended. 316 stainless steel anchors are more commonly used in highly corrosive or acidic environments, as they are well resistant to such polluting extremes.
