Steel wedge anchor is one of the most widely used expansion anchor products in the expansion series. It is composed of a hex nut, a flat washer, an expansion clip and an expansion rod body. One end of the expansion rod body is rolled with the whole or the long external threads, and the other end is designed to be conical. The conical end is pressed by a punch and held by an expansion clip.
Wedge anchor bolt is a kind of full thread, stud type high-grade steel expansion anchor bolt, which is suitable for solid concrete or solid concrete masonry substrate, used for anchoring and fixing the objects. It is pre-assembled with an expansion clip and is equipped with nut and washer. The expansion clip ensures a uniform holding capacity and the tension gradually increases as it is extended. The external thread and the rod body have a variety of diameters and lengths to set the stud by tightening the nut. Concreate wedge anchors bolts are most suitable for static applications.
Steel concrete wedge anchors have various diameters, lengths and thread lengths. According to different requirements, there are metric and Inch thread patterns. Most of them are made of carbon steel and stainless steel. They are most commonly used in solid concrete sites.
Expansion wedge anchor is a kind of mechanical expansion anchor, which is composed of screw anchor body, expansion clip, nut and washer. These anchors provide the highest and most consistent retention value of any mechanical expansion anchor. A very simple mechanism allows for excellent consistent retention values in concrete. Once inserted into the concrete hole, the nut turns clockwise. This action will pull up the anchor body so that the expansion clip slides down along the tapered working end of the wedge anchor bolt. The concrete is then expanded between the concrete and the wedge and to pre-drill a hole before installation.
They are manufactured according to metric and inch thread standards, with diameters from M6-1/4" to M24-1". Special sizes and styles can be provided according to sketches and samples. The surface can be plated with white zinc, yellow zinc, HDG or Dacromet coating according to customer requirements.
* Pre-drill a hole in concrete subrate according to the diameter and length for installation.
* Clean the drilled hole and insert the anchor body.
* Go through the installed hole in the object and hammer the anchor head.
* Tighten the hex nut to expand and for anchoring and fixing.
